The designer was able to reclaim a lot of space and install an island in the kitchen, by sinking the fridge into the wall. The doors off the kitchen lead to the backyard, which is very convenient for barbequing and entertaining in the summer months.

The basement in this home has not been finished, but a lot of the work towards finishing it has already been done, including adding a full three-piece bathroom.
The rec room also has some of the requirements for finishing completed for you, including the recepticles and a wood burning fireplace. You could easily add pot lights, flooring, and drywall to complete the rec room. We could see this space being a very cozy place for the family to hang out all year round.

One of the great features of this home is just how huge this lot is - it's 75' wide by 221' deep!
It has a ton of privacy, but it's small enough to be easily maintained. There's a breezeway between this home and the neighbour's home, which is jointly maintained. This really is a beautiful yard, and would be a great place to play outside with your kids and the pets all year round.
The homeowners have a great entertaining setup on the deck outside. The barbeque has a natural gas hookup, and the doors lead directly into the kitchen for easy access. There's enough space for a nice patio furniture setup, and the view from the back of the house towards the trees is certainly very relaxing.
The trees at the back of this home have some history as well. Originally planted in 1958, there are a number of Oak, Maple, and Walnut trees here. One of the huge benefits about these trees is you can feel the temperature drop beneath these trees as the canopy protects the ground below from the sun. This feels like a great place to set up some furniture and relax after a long day!

The utility room is located in the basement, and houses the furnace (installed in 2006), the water heater (owned and shows 2019), and there is also a saltless soft water system as well. Everything is owned in this home, so you won't run into rental costs for appliances.
This home has full municipal services and all sorts of options for internet. There is currently a black line running to the houses from the street, which is a temporary line installed as the old one was corroded. We're told that in approximately three weeks, the temporary line will be removed and a permanent line will be installed underground, as it should be.
We already touched on this a bit, but this home is located directly next to the public school, giving you additional privacy as the school is located on the far side of their lot, and there's a ball diamond and a field located between the school and the home.
